OLD BUSINESS

1. Mayoral Veto of Resolution No. 139-2020, Retail Beer & Retail Table Wine (Off Premises Only) by Abner Grocery Store, 843 South Decatur Street.  Reasons for veto:  1. The Montgomery Housing Authority has not been made aware of the location of the liquor store and its proximity to Paterson Court.  2.  Alabama State University has not been made aware of the location of the liquor store and its proximity to the University.  3.  There is an existing ABC store located two blocks from the proposed site.  4.  I would like to see the space used for alcohol be repurposed for fresh fruits and vegetables.

2. Hearing on the proposed Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 75-2001 to revise the master plan to change multi-family residential use to single-family residential use for property located approximately 750 feet north of Atlanta Highway and approximately 550 feet east of Stoneybrooke Way, in a PUD (Planned Unit Development District).  Recommended by Planning Commission.  (RZ-2001-025)

3. Hearing on the proposed Ordinance rezoning one lot located on the west side of Nettie Circle, approximately 130 feet south of Upbuilders Lane, from an R-50 (Residential) Zoning District to an R-99-s-Q (Mobile Home Subdivision-Qualified), restricted to one mobile home.  Recommended by the Planning Commission.  Applicant requested R-99-s, no appeal received.

4. Hearing on the proposed Ordinance amending FY 2020 Operating and Debt Service Budget and adopting FY 2021 Operating and Debt Service Budget.

5. Ordinance amending FY 2020 Operating and Debt Service Budget and adopting FY 2021 Operating and Debt Service Budget.

6. Application for a Lounge Retail Liquor – Class II (Package) License by RSHP Inc., d/b/a AIRTEC, 3566 Day Street.

7. Ordinance declaring a Moratorium on approval of Business License for Liquor Stores and Other Similar Business Operations.  (Sponsored by Councillor Graham)
