The Montgomery-Maxwell AFB JLUS project is a joint effort by the City of Montgomery, Montgomery County, and Maxwell AFB.

This project was funded through a grant provided by the Department of Defense, Office of Local Defence Community Cooperation (OLDCC) to the City of Montgomery. Mr. Robert Smith, Planning Director for the City of Montgomery, coordinated this effort.

The Policy Committee approved the Montgomery-Maxwell Air Force Base Joint Land Use Study (JLUS) at a meeting on June 14, 2017. The JLUS Documents reflect the input and comments received during the Public Review period conducted April 14 through May 3, 2017.

The JLUS Report presents an overview of the JLUS planning process, purpose, and objectives of the study and Recommended Plan.
