Conditions & Requirements

Many of these parcels have been acquired through tax foreclosure. All property will be sold “as is,” with no warranty as to title or condition of the property.

To be qualified to acquire these parcels, you must be in good standing with all municipal obligations, not have any outstanding tax or property-related liens, not have any unresolved violations of City codes or ordinances, and not have been an owner in a completed Montgomery County tax foreclosure proceeding.

NOTE: The City of Montgomery reserves the right to decline any offer to purchase City-owned property if the offer does not advance the City’s goals or comport with its policies for property disposition.

To view additional information about each parcel, please utilize the Interactive Mapping Tool. After clicking on the link, you will see a map of the entire city with all of the available parcels represented as red thumbtacks. As you zoom in by clicking on a thumbtack or using the + icon, the thumbtack will turn into a red polygon representing the property’s parcel lines. At that point you may click within the polygon to display additional information about the parcel, including a link to its image on Google Maps. If you continue to zoom to the polygon, you will view adjacent parcel lines and structures. You may also search for a property by its address.
