OLD BUSINESS
1. Resolution concurring in the appointment of Caroline Montgomery Clark to the Board of Directors of Human Resources. (Carried over 12-05-17, 12-19-17 and 01-02-18)
2. Application for a Lounge Retail Liquor – Class I License by Exotic Lounge LLC, d/b/a Exotic Lounge, 34130 Wetumpka Highway 231 N (PJ). Sheriff Cunningham is opposed to issuance; County Commissioner – no response; Councillor Lyons is opposed to issuance; and Chief Finley is opposed to issuance.
3. Hearing on proposed Ordinance rezoning one parcel of land located on the east side of the Wetumpka Highway (4320 Wetumpka Highway - PJ), approximately 250 feet south of Old Wetumpka Highway, from an AGR-2 (General Agriculture) Zoning District to an M-3-Q Zoning District; restricted to Animal Clinic, Hospital or Kennel and uses allowed in a B-2 (Commercial) Zoning District. Applicant requested M-3; Planning Commission recommended M-3-Q with stated restrictions. No appeal received. (RZ-2017-021)
5. Ordinance renaming McGowan Street to TS Morris Drive. Recommended by Planning Commission.
6. Application for Retail Beer & Retail Table Wine (Off Premises Only) Licenses by Circle K Stores Inc., d/b/a Circle K Store 2709069, 3620 Wetumpka Highway (PJ). Sheriff Cunningham has no objections; County Commissioner – no response; Councillor Lyons and Chief Finley have no objections.
7. Application for Retail Beer and Retail Table Wine (Off Premises) by Circle K Stores Inc., d/b/a Circle K Store 2709066, 1024 Ann Street.
8. Resolution reappointing William B. Wilson to The Taylor-Ryan Improvement District. Sponsored by Councillor Jinright.
9. Resolution appointing Dothel Edwards to the Montgomery Clean City Commission by Councillor Jinright replacing Karin Carmichael.
10. Appeal of Junk Vehicle by Laciquansa Lockley & Gloria J. Crockett, 619 Plantation Way.
11. Resolution declaring public nuisances, authorizing immediate abatement and assessing cost of abatement of public nuisances on various lots pursuant to Chapter 12 of Code of Ordinances.
