OLD BUSINESS
1. Ordinance rezoning one parcel of land containing 12.5 acres located on the north side of Taylor Road East*, approximately 700 feet east of Taylor Road, from an AGR-1 (Residential Agriculture) Zoning District to a PGH-40 (Patio-Garden Home) Zoning District. (RZ-2005-035). Not Recommended by the Planning Commission. APPEALED. Hearing held 9-19-17. (Carried over 9-19-17 and 10-17-17)
2. Resolution concurring in the appointment of Caroline Montgomery Clark to the Board of Directors of Human Resources. (Carried over 12-05-17 and 12-19-17)
3. Hearing on proposed Ordinance rezoning five lots located on the northwest corner of Ann Street and Plum Street from an R-60-s (Single-Family residential) Zoning District to a B-3 (Commercial) Zoning District (2805, 2809, 2813, 2817 & 2821 Plum Street). No action taken by Planning Commission due to a failed vote. APPEALED. (RZ-2017-018)
4. Hearing on proposed Ordinance rezoning property located on the south side of Winston Drive, approximately 150 feet east of Norman Bridge Road, and on the east side of Norman Bridge Road, approximately 100 feet south of Winston Drive (510 Winston Drive), from a B-2 (Commercial) Zoning District to a B-1-a (Central Business) Zoning District. Recommended by the Planning Commission. (RZ-2017-019)
5. Hearing on proposed ordinance rezoning one parcel of land containing 7.8 acres located on the east side of Mobile Highway, approximately 1300 feet north of Wasden Road (7257 Mobile Highway), from an AGR-1 (Residential Agriculture) Zoning District to an M-1 (Light Industrial) Zoning District. Recommended by the Planning Commission. (RZ-2017-020)
NEW BUSINESS
6. Ordinance levying franchise tax on Alabama Gas Corporation for 2017.
7. Ordinance granting a license to GCHP-Jefferson Davis, LLC to construct, install, and maintain a canopy structure over a portion of the ROW of Montgomery Street.
8. Application for a Special Retail – More Than 30 Days Liquor License by Eve Event Planning and Event Center LLC, d/b/a Eve Event Planning and Event Center, 711 Air Base Boulevard.
9. Application for Retail Beer and Retail Table Wine (On or Off Premises) by Vintage Hospitality Group Inc., d/b/a Vintage Café Cloverdale, 416 Cloverdale Road.
10. Application for a Restaurant Retail Liquor License by Tailwind MGM LLC, d/b/a Tailwind MGM, 4445 Selma Highway.
11. Resolution declaring public nuisances, authorizing immediate abatement and assessing cost of abatement of public nuisances on various lots pursuant to Chapter 12 of Code of Ordinances.
