OLD BUSINESS

1.      Resolution appointing Election Officers for the Regular Municipal Election and Run-off Election.

2.      Resolution denying and/or revoking right to operate a business for failure to purchase business license and pay sales tax:  Bryant Gardner, d/b/a Da Palace, 1481 Furnace Street. 

3.      Hearing on proposed Ordinance rezoning one parcel of land containing 2.722 acres located at 5615 Old Selma Road from an AGR-1 (Residential Agriculture) Zoning District to a B-2 (Commercial) Zoning District.  Recommended by the Planning Commission.  (RZ-2015-008)

4.      Hearing on proposed Ordinance rezoning one lot located at 601 South Court Street from a T4-R (General Urban Zone-Restricted) Zoning District to a T4-O (General Urban Zone-Open) Zoning District.  Recommended by the Planning Commission.  (RZ-2015-009)

5.      Hearing on proposed Ordinance rezoning property containing 108.96 acres located on the east side of Norman Bridge Road, across from the intersection of Hyundai Boulevard, from an AGR-1 (Residential Agriculture) Zoning District to an M-1-Q (Light Industrial-Qualified) Zoning District, restricting any B-2 (Commercial) uses, except for use for billboard signage; and restricting the use of a travel trailer park. Applicant requested M-1; Planning Commission recommended M-1-Q with stated restrictions; No Appeal received.  (RZ-2014-017)

NEW BUSINESS

6.      Ordinance authorizing Purchase/Sale Agreement and Sale of Real Estate for economic development at 301 Bibb Street.

7.      Ordinance authorizing the issuance of a General Obligation Warrant of the City of Montgomery.

8.      Resolution approving Project Agreement between the City of Montgomery, County of Montgomery and Sykes Enterprises Incorporated and authorizing Mayor Strange to execute documents.

9.      Resolution directing Mayor to execute Agreement and Easement to ALDOT for fence on City-Owned property adjacent to New Town Subdivision.

10.  Application for Retail Beer and Retail Table Wine (Off Premises Only) Licenses by Khalil Rahmanzie and Aikria Aziz, d/b/a All Mart, 4973 Mobile Highway. 

11.  Application for a Retail Beer (On or Off Premises) License by Wingsdom Inc., d/b/a This is Wings, 3805 Eastern Boulevard.

12.  Application for a Restaurant Retail Liquor License by Brins Wings LLC, d/b/a Brins Wings, 3133 Bell Road.

13.  Application for an Alternative Transportation Service by Arafat Diab, d/b/a SheFa Medical Transportation Service, LLC, 1430  I-85 Parkway, Suite 234.

14.  Application for an Alternative Transportation Service by David A. Sadler, d/b/a Concierge Services, Inc., 201 Tallapoosa Street.

16.  Resolution appointing Joe Holley to the Industrial Development Board by Councillor Calhoun replacing Nexton Marshall.

17.  Resolution appointing Oliver A. E. Orton to the Mental Health Authority replacing Jeannine Smiley.  (Sponsored by Councillor Jinright)

18.  Resolution declaring public nuisances, authorizing immediate abatement and assessing cost of abatement of public nuisances on various lots pursuant to Chapter 12 of Code of Ordinances.
