Rides can be scheduled to take place immediately, within a few hours, or up to 30 days in advance. If you do schedule for an immediate ride, you may have to wait for an Uber driver to be available. 

No, you do not need the Uber app or a smartphone to book a ride! Once your ride is booked, you can receive updates with the details of your ride (both outgoing and return) via text or landline.

Your Uber driver will drop you off at the local vaccination site address that you provided when you scheduled your ride. We know that you may need to travel for a vaccine appointment, so rides can be taken to vaccination sites in Montgomery, Autauga, or Elmore counties. 

Your driver will not wait for you to get vaccinated, they will drop you off. When you are ready for the return ride, you can reply to one of the text messages you got when you booked the ride to request a ride home. If you have any trouble, please call 2-1-1.
