The Montgomery Rides Program was launched to ensure that transportation does not prevent anyone from getting the COVID-19 vaccine.

We recognize the many financial and logistical barriers to accessing medical care, and the City believes that transportation should never keep you from getting vaccinated.

The Montgomery Rides Program provides free roundtrip Uber rides from within the city of Montgomery to vaccination sites in Montgomery, Autauga, and Elmore Counties.

To Schedule A Ride - Call 2-1-1 Monday-Friday between 9am - 4:30pm

An Uber ride will pick you up at your predetermined location, drop you off to get a vaccine, and can return you to your original location. You do not need the Uber app or a smartphone to book a ride! (see below for more details).

In addition to the free rides booked through 2-1-1, a limited number of Uber promo codes are available for rides to vaccination sites. These promo codes will be distributed to faith-based organizations and social service providers in the City; please contact mayor@montgomeryal.gov for more information.
