The Economic Impact Task Force will identify and facilitate measures to address the economic impact of the COVID-19 crisis on Montgomery businesses, workers, and families.  The task force will work with these stakeholders to develop and/or recommend new policies and programs that the federal, state, county, and city governments, as well as the private sector, can enact to provide economic and financial support to support the people and businesses of Montgomery.

First Phase: Focus on immediate needs such as rent/mortgages, utilities, unemployment issues, and more.

FREE Virtual Workforce Development/Educational Opportunities

The Economic Impact Task Force worked closely with Tech MGM and MGM WERX to identify virtual workforce development and educational resources that residents can access from home. These free online seminars can be useful for people who have lost their jobs, those looking to pursue new job opportunities, or businesses looking to improve their operations.
