Jasmyne L. Crimiel is a native of Montgomery, Alabama. She is a graduate of Tuskegee University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. In 2017, Jasmyne graduated from Faulkner University, Thomas Goode Jones School of Law. After law school Jasmyne realized her desire to help others and serve her community. Jasmyne began working as a Deputy District Attorney with the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office in 2018. Currently, she prosecutes special victims’ cases involving child abuse, sexual assault, and domestic violence with the Attorney General’s Office, Criminal Trials Division.

Jasmyne is also passionate about helping the community and the youth and speaks to middle and high school students to raise awareness about the importance of higher education, gun violence prevention, and sexual assault. Jasmyne is a Member of the Sexual Assault Task Force, a Board Member of the Alabama Coalition Against Domestic Violence, an Executive Board Member of the Mayor’s Young Professional Council, an adjunct Criminal Law professor at Alabama State University, and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
