Chelsei Martin, MPH (she/her) Healthcare Strategist/Community Advocate Chelsei Martin is the Quality Care Director for MyCare, a subsidiary of BlueCross that serving Alabama’s Medicaid population. A self-proclaimed outdoor enthusiast. Her passion for people, and community development has driven her career and community advocacy. Throughout her time in Montgomery Chelsei has worked with local nonprofit organizations to secure community & program development grants, develop community policy, and provide community strategic planning. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for MGM Runs and the Hilltop Howler. These area non- profits work to improve community vitality, connection, wellness, and experiences. She is also a member of MMFA’s Community Program Committee & Nora’s Playhouse. Chelsei’s recent community tenure includes:

- Securement of funding for The Jubilee Community Center’s Strategic Plan
- Development and delivery of The Hilltop Art Festival
- Policy expansion of the Entertainment District, and development of the recently passed Busking Ordinance

Chelsei received her BS, and MPH from The University of Alabama, with concentrations in epidemiology, sexual health, minority rural health, and political science.
