Austin Smith is an Entry-Level Environmental Engineer at Jacobs Engineering Group from Montgomery, Alabama. He graduated from Brewbaker Technology Magnet High School in Montgomery, Alabama, in the Spring of 2018 and also a graduate of Alabama A&M University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering in the Spring of 2022. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., initiated under the Gamma Phi chapter and a member of Eta Kappa Tau, Engineering and Technology Fraternity, Inc., initiated under the Alpha chapter. He also serves as the Vice Chair of Youth Affairs for the Montgomery Democratic Party. While at Alabama A&M University, he served as the 72nd SGA Executive President and Ex-Officio member of the Board of Trustees along with holding other memberships and leadership positions during his academic tenure on the Hill. He is the Assistant Coach of the Brewbaker Technology Magnet High School Varsity Boys & Girls Tennis Team. Austin is also the Projects & Initiatives Co-Chair for the City of Montgomery Mayor’s Young Professional Council.
