Ashlen Nettles is a proud Montgomery native and Faulkner University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies. She brings over a decade of legal experience to the Alabama League of Municipalities, a nonpartisan membership association of over 450 incorporated cities and towns. In her role as the Legal Services Executive Assistant, Ashlen works to strengthen municipal government through advocacy, training, and the advancement of effective local leadership. With a robust background as a paralegal and legal administrator, Ashlen previously served as the Executive Assistant to the Mayor and City Manager of Tuskegee, AL, where she gained valuable municipal experience.
Ashlen's commitment to the community extends beyond her professional roles; she is passionate about fostering growth and positive change within the capital city. Her dedication is evident through her involvement in associations and legislative matters, including her memberships in NALA, The Paralegal Association, and the Faulkner University Alumni Association. Ashlen enjoys being a Montgomery native, appreciating the rich history and vibrant culture of the city. Outside of her professional endeavors, she finds joy in traveling, creating inspirational content, and making cherished memories with her husband Eric, their four wonderful children, and three pups.
