Major Stanley Rucker

Major Stanley Rucker has served in various capacities and positions of rank during his 28 years of service with the Montgomery Police Department. He currently serves as the Adjunct to the Chief of Investigations (COI) and the Chief of Operations (COO). In his current capacity, Major Rucker assists the COI and the COO in daily administrative operations and is a liaison to the commanders who fall under their chain of command. Major Rucker’s previous assignments include Sector Commander of the Patrol Division, Division Commander of Criminal Investigations, and Commander of the Special Operations Division.

Major Saba Coleman

Major Saba Coleman, who has more than 23 years of service, joined the Montgomery Police Department in 2001. After completing the Montgomery Police Academy, she served as a patrolwoman in various areas throughout the City of Montgomery. During her tenure, she has completed numerous training and leadership courses while achieving success in a variety of capacities and positions of rank, including Criminal Investigations Division (Crime Scene, Cyber Crimes, & Special Victims), Special Services (School Enforcement & Community Policing), Patrol, and Public Information. In September of 2022, she was promoted to the rank of Major and currently serves as the Administrative Division Commander, Municipal Jail Division, and Public Information Officer. In December of 2022, she successfully graduated from the FBI National Academy. As the Commander, she currently manages personnel assigned to Police Desk Services, Supply and Evidence, Peer Support, Star Watch, Office of Professional Standards and Compliance, Executive Office, Finance, Public Information Office, and the Municipal Jail Division.

Major Ronald Dorsey

Major Ronald Dorsey, who has more than 18 years of service, joined the Montgomery Police Department in 2006. After completing the Montgomery Police Academy, he served as a patrolman in various areas throughout the City of Montgomery. During his tenure, he has completed numerous training and leadership courses while achieving success in a variety of capacities and positions of rank, including the Juvenile Division, Traffic Division, Special Services Division, Criminal Investigations Division, Special Operations Division, and Patrol Division. In November of 2023, he was promoted to the rank of Major and currently oversees the daily operations of Sector Alpha-Patrol Division. As the Commander, his primary task is evaluating crime trends and implementing crime reduction strategies. He works daily with leaders of the community, neighborhood associations, stakeholders, members of clergy, and city council members to address issues that affect different communities throughout Sector Alpha.

Major Don K. Corkran II

Major Don K. Corkran II, who has more than 23 years of service, is currently the Commander of Sector Bravo of the Patrol Division. He joined the department in July 2000 after serving four years of active duty in the United States Marine Corps. After completing the Montgomery Police Academy, he served as a patrolman in various areas throughout the City of Montgomery. He served in this capacity until his transfer to the Traffic Division, Solo Motors Bureau, in 2007. He returned to the Patrol Division as a sergeant in 2009. In the following years, he transferred between the Traffic and Patrol Divisions due to the needs of the department or promotion. During his tenure, while excelling through various positions of rank, Major Corkran has completed numerous training and leadership courses including the IPTM Police Motor Instructor Course, Maxwell AFB Officer Training Course Leadership Consortium, as well as becoming a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police. In addition to his service to the citizens of Montgomery, Major Corkran currently serves as a Master Sergeant in the Alabama Air National Guard.

Major Kedrick Miliner

Major K. C. Miliner, who has more than 28 years of service, began his law enforcement career with the Montgomery Police Department in 1995. Major Miliner currently serves as the Division Commander for the Training Division. As the commander of the Training Division, Major Milner oversees the Recruiting Bureau, Career Development Bureau, Training Bureau, ALEEVOC Driving Track, and the Outdoor Firing Range and serves as the Director of the Montgomery Police Academy and as the Director of the Alabama Advanced Criminal Justice Academy. The Training Division is responsible for conducting basic recruit training, both regionally and departmentally, in accordance with APOSTC guidelines, firearms training and qualifications, continuing education and career development training, field officer training, and the recruitment and hiring of applicants to include Police Officer, Municipal Jail Corrections Officer, Administrative Support Assistant, and School Patrol Officer. Major Miliner previously served as a patrol officer and school resource officer.  Major Miliner also served in various supervisory positions in the Patrol Division, School Enforcement Bureau, Traffic Division, Criminal Investigations Division, and Special Services Division. During his tenure, Major Milner completed numerous training and leadership courses, including being a graduate of the FBI National Academy.

Captain Ralph Tucker - Assistant Municipal Jail Division Commander

The Jail Division Commander has the responsibility to oversee and direct the jail operations and enforce city, state, and federal regulations, laws, and procedures regarding the incarceration and care of inmates. Additionally, the work entails budget and policy development, community and public relations, and crisis management. The essential functions are: supervision of staff, facility operations and security, investigation and resolution of complaints, staff training, communicates directly with the United States Marshals and Homeland Security (I.C.E.) regarding Federal Inmates.
