The Learning Arts Center @ The Armory is co-hosting a staged reading Thurs., March 16th of the play “Periphery” by Ed Simpson.  The docudrama focuses on ordinary citizens who stood witness to the historic February 1960 sit-ins at the Woolworth’s lunch counter in Greensboro, NC. ---those on the periphery.  The reading by 15 Montgomery-area actors is directed by Learning Arts Center film instructor Mr. John Martello and begins at 7:00pm.
