Featuring Tuskegee University and Fort Valley State University, the Red Tails Classic will showcase the excellence and athleticism of America’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities while honoring the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen. The game will be televised nationally on ESPNU and ESPN+ beginning at 6 p.m. CDT. 

Leading up to gameday, the City of Montgomery crafted HBCU Kickoff Weekend, several days offering live music, family events, food, fun and more. This includes the HBCU Afterglow Series, which will feature live musical performances from Ginuwine, Musiq Soulchild, Brownstone, MGM Soul Collective and Yung Vokalz at the Lower Commerce Street Entertainment Lot in downtown Montgomery. Entry is free for all residents and visitors.

Additionally, Montgomery After Hours will be a nightly occurrence during which the city’s best options for dining and libations will offer specials on food, drinks and more. The HBCU Classic Weekend Charity Golf Tournament, sponsored by 100 Black Men of America’s Greater Montgomery Chapter, will raise money to fund scholarships for the four universities represented across the weekend.
