The Alabama Dance Theatre hosts a free performance for the public, designed for audiences of all ages! Bring a picnic or enjoy one of the food trucks on site. Gates open at 6:00pm, with performances by the Alabama Dance Theatre starting at 7:30pm.
Dancers will perform original, new works from guest and resident choreographers. There will also be a collaboration with ClefWorks. Stars on the Riverfront is the culmination of a two-week summer dance intensive, taught this year by ADT faculty and special guest teachers Armando Luna, Ashley McQueen, Taylor Jordan, and Ke'Yana Robinson.
Stars on the Riverfront is made possible by the support of the Montgomery Department of Cultural Affairs, the Alabama State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts, Alabama Power, the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, and MAX Wealth Management.
