Mayor Steven L. Reed and the City of Montgomery’s Department of Cultural Affairs invite you to Jazz on the Riverfront on Sunday, April 24, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Riverfront Amphitheater.
The free concert will feature local food vendors and live jazz music from featured artist Trey Daniels and fellow musicians including Amon Robinson, Bo Berry, Emery Kidd, Byron Thomas, Choko Aikens, Jeffrey Perry, Tom Wolfe and Belinda George Peoples. WVAS-FM 90.7 radio personality Jazzie K. Ward will emcee the afternoon of music and fellowship.
Jazzie K. Ward – the on-air name for Kory R. Ward – is the longtime host of the Saturday morning show, A Saturday Jazz Affair, Artist Talk, that is featured on Alabama State University’s WVAS-FM 90.7 Smooth Jazz Radio. Ward has also been a host and organizer for several Jazz Festivals (Jazz in the Park, Nat King Cole Jazz Festival and Jazz in the Grass).
Lawn chairs, blankets and music fans of all ages are welcome!
