OLD BUSINESS
1. Hearing on proposed Ordinance rezoning 2.19 acres located approximately 100 feet west of Wetumpka Highway, and approximately 300 feet south of Anderson Road, from AGR-1 (Residential Agriculture) and B-2 (Commercial) Zoning Districts to a B-2 (Commercial) Zoning District. Recommended by the Planning Commission. (RZ-2021-012)
2. Hearing on proposed Ordinance rezoning 2 parcels at the southeast corner of Ann Street and Chestnut Street from a B-4 (Commercial) Zoning District to an M-1 (Light Industry) Zoning District. No Recommendation from the Planning Commission (a motion was made to approve the request, however, there was no second to the motion, therefore, no action was taken). APPEALED (RZ-2021-013)
3. Hearing on proposed Ordinance rezoning 1 lot located at 3447 Norman Bridge Road from an O-1 (Office) Zoning District to a B-2 (Commercial) Zoning District. No Recommendation from the Planning Commission (a motion was made to approve the request; however, there was no second to the motion, therefore, no action was taken). APPEALED (RZ-2021-010)
NEW BUSINESS
4. Ordinance renaming East and West Jeff Davis Avenue to East and West Fred D. Gray Avenue.
5. Review of Apartment Complexes as follows:
• Ravenwood Apartments, 2230 Woodley Square, (Odin Properties) update of strategic plan to eliminate public safety issues; Status of Business License
• Serenity Apartments at the Park, 4900 Plaza Drive (Thomas Ventures LLC) – update of strategic plan to eliminate public safety issues; Status of Business License.
6. Application for Retail Beer & Retail Table Wine (Off Premises Only) by Brothers Seafood and Grill LLC, d/b/a Brothers Seafood and Grill, 1954 Rosa L. Parks Avenue.
7. Application for Special Events Retail Liquor License by City of Montgomery Parks and Recreation Department, d/b/a Riverwalk Wine Festival, 30 Water Street Train Shed.
8. Resolution appointing Ed Bertarelli to the Housing Authority by Councillor Grimes replacing Richard E. Hanan.
9. Resolution assessing the cost of abatement of unsafe structures at various locations pursuant to Section 11-53B-1 et Seq., Code of Alabama.
10. Resolution declaring public nuisances, authorizing immediate abatement and assessing cost of abatement of public nuisances on various lots pursuant to Chapter 12 of the Code of Ordinances.
