Montgomery leaders and community advocates will host a rally on May 22 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Regency Park Community Center, 5995 Christy Lane, to mark the launch of the City of Montgomery’s Stop the Violence campaign.
The event will include free food and drinks, as well as live entertainment by DJ Ali, to engage the greater Montgomery community in the citywide effort to reduce domestic violence and gun crimes in Montgomery. Additionally, various City departments will have representatives present to answer questions or concerns and provide information on services, updates and more to residents.
