In 2021, the Alpha Upsilon Lambda (AUL) Education Foundation of AUL Chapter Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. would have celebrated our 25th year hosting the Martin Luther King, Jr. (MLK) Memorial Scholarship Breakfast. This year, we will host a virtual Gathering on January 16, 2021 at 10:00am.
Since 1997, AUL has sponsored the annual MLK Memorial Breakfast in honor of our late/great fraternity brother. Proceeds have enabled the fraternity to provide financial assistance to more than 120 students during the period, 1997-2019. This intent of the breakfast was to:
A. Pay tribute to the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., our fraternity brother.
B. Continue the tradition of raising “Dollars for College Scholars.”
C. Recognize Montgomery area citizens as “King Legacy Advocates”
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are unable to gather in-person but that does not mean we are unable to provide scholarship money to well needed high school, college and graduate students as we have for the past 24 years. We need your help! Whether it is $25 or $2500, every donation counts and helps us towards our goal!
