Credentialing:
All media should check in at the credentialing station in the MPAC lobby no later than 7:30 AM. Be advised that the doors will open to the public at 8 AM. Anticipated attendance is around 3000, and there is a check in and security process for the public. Media is asked to be inside the lobby and through security before opening for the public. We cannot guarantee expedited access after 7:30 AM.
A small number of credentials are available, and a large number of media have RSVP’d. Only staff essential to coverage will be admitted. Additional coverage opportunities are available in the overflow area. Wearing your media logo on your shirt or carrying a media issued badge/ID will be helpful in the credentialing process.
Television/Video:
Pool Feed - Due to historic nature of this ceremony and the anticipated crowd size, space for media parking and seating is extremely limited. A pool feed will be available and the most current satellite coordinates and streaming info are provided below.
Parking:
There will be no parking for additional satellite trucks and no additional cables may be run from inside of the theatre to the exterior. Parking will be first come, first served in any spot not marked as reserved.
Security Sweep/Equipment Drop:
All video camera equipment must be inside the MPAC theatre between 5:00 - 6:00 AM on Nov. 12 Equipment must be left inside the theatre until the ceremony begins.
Print/Photo journalists:
Parking - Parking will be first come, first served in any spot not marked as reserved.
Security Sweep/Equipment Drop:
Journalists utilizing tripods or equipment other than a single camera and small bag are asked to arrive between 5:00 – 6:00 AM Nov. 12. Equipment must be left inside the theatre until the ceremony begins.
Those carrying a camera and single bag may enter through the regular security check points after checking in at the media credentialing station before 7:30 AM tomorrow.
