An Evening with Montgomery County Sheriff Derrick Cunningham. Sheriff Cunningham is the first African-American to be elected Sheriff of Montgomery County. He was born in Washington State and moved to Tuscaloosa with his family when he turned 12. After graduating from High School he later moved to Montgomery to begin what he always knew was his calling in life—to be in Law Enforcement.
