One-fourth of all voters are “health care voters,” which means simply that the availability of information about the state of healthcare and a candidate's position on health-related issues are priorities when it comes to voting. If you consider yourself a “health care voter”, you are invited to join Medical Advocacy & Outreach (MAO) for the Healthcare Town Hall: A Listening Session on Topics Impacting Healthcare. All community members, candidates, and views are welcome. District 2 congressional candidates Martha Roby and Tabitha Isner will be invited. The Healthcare Town Hall will be moderated by MAO’s CEO, Michael Murphree.
Participation is FREE; however, space is limited to the first 50 who respond. Text “I will be there” and your name to (334) 479-1996 if you plan to attend. Participant names and telephone numbers will NOT be shared.
Questions about this event can be e-mailed to info@maoi.org. An informal MAO Open House will be held at 5 PM for those wanting to learn more about MAO.
The Healthcare Town Hall is being hosted by MAO’s Division of Capacity Building as a nonpartisan public service and open to all community members and registered candidates. Comments and information captured during the event will be shared with all candidates for their consideration in this election year. Voter registration information will be available.
