The month of July has been designated as clean up month for District Six (6). Residents in District Six (6) can take advantage of special garbage and trash removal service during this time only. The sanitation department will remove all items, including up to 2 tires, without extra charge, that are placed behind the curb on your regular trash pick-up day; except for loose leaves, dirt, building materials and tree branches exceeding four feet in length or eight inches diameter. Call The Montgomery Clean City Commission at 334-625-2175 to find out how they can help you organize a neighborhood cleanup during the 2018 Great American Cleanup.
The Council members, the Sanitation Department, as well as the Montgomery Clean City Commission, are reminding residents that now is the time to "cut down, trim back, clean up, and throw away."
NOTE: Dirt, building materials and tree limbs larger than four feet in length or eight inches in diameter will not be picked up.
