OLD BUSINESS

1. Ordinance repealing Chapter 20 of the Code of Ordinances and adopting New Articles Regulating Peddlers and Solicitors.

2. Ordinance establishing procedures regulating the operations of Bike Share Providers within the City of Montgomery.

3. Resolution denying and/or revoking right to operate a business for failure to purchase Business License:  Andrea Burton Bell, d/b/a Bell’s Collision Center, 4213 Norman Bridge Road.

4. Hearing on proposed Ordinance rezoning property located on the north side of Woodmere Boulevard, approximately 1400 east of Eastern Boulevard, from an R-65-m (Multi-Family Residential) Zoning District to a B-2-Q (Commercial-Qualified) Zoning District, restricted to Class “A” use, and additionally to exclude the following uses:  Pay Day/Title Loan Businesses, Lounges, Supper Clubs, Tattoo Parlors, Massage Parlor, Hookah Bars, Service Stations, Gas Stations, any establishment where the majority of sales is from alcohol sales. Applicant requested B-2 but Planning Commission recommended to rezone to B-2-Q (Commercial-Qualified) Zoning District, restricted as stated above.  No appeal received.  (RZ-2009-011)

5. Hearing on proposed Ordinance rezoning property located on the southeast corner of High Street and South Court Street from a T4-R (General Urban Zone-Restricted) SmartCode Zoning District to a T4-O (General Urban Zone-Open) SmartCode Zoning District.  Recommend by Planning Commission.  (RZ-2018-007)

6. Hearing on proposed Ordinance rezoning one lot located at 13074 Edna Brake Lucas Drive from an AGR-1 (Residential Agriculture) Zoning District to a B-2-Q (Commercial-Qualified) Zoning District, restricted to daycare and educational use (private school).  Applicant requested B-2 but Planning Commission recommended rezoning to a B-2-Q with restrictions as stated above.  No appeal received.  (RZ-2018-008)

7. Hearing on proposed Ordinance rezoning property located on the southwest corner of South Holt Street and Alexander Street from a B-2 (Commercial) Zoning District to an R-60-m (Multi-Family Residential) zoning District.  Recommended by the Planning Commission.  (RZ-2018-009)

8. Hearing on proposed Ordinance rezoning one property located on the west side of Phillip Street, approximately 1200 feet south of Anthony Street, from an R-50 (Single-Family Residential) Zoning District to an R-99-s (Mobile Home Subdivision) Zoning District.  Planning Commission’s motion to deny failed to pass, therefore no action was taken.  APPEALED.  (RZ-2018-006)

11. Resolution denying and/or revoking right to operate a business for failure to purchase a Business License:  Jarrell Smith, d/b/a Gentleman’s Lounge Barbershop, 5780 Woodmere Boulevard.

12. Application for Retail Beer (Off Premises Only) License by Sunil LLC, d/b/a Americas Pride, 5670 Atlanta Highway.

19. Application for Special Retail Liquor – 30 Days or Less License by The Little Donkey LLC, d/b/a Sounds of Summer, 7064 EastChase Parkway Parking Lot.

20. Resolution assessing the cost of abatement of unsafe structures on various lots, pursuant to Section 11-53B-1, et Seq., Code of Alabama.

21. Resolution declaring public nuisances, authorizing immediate abatement and assessing cost of abatement of public nuisances on various lots pursuant to Chapter 12 of Code of Ordinances.
