In honor of Memorial Day, the Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA), Chapter 607 Central Alabama will host a Memorial Day Service in remembrance of fallen Vietnam Veterans in the Central Alabama area recently deceased. Family members of 18 Alabama Vietnam Veterans will be honored and presented with a VVA Memorial Remembrance Coin and a City of Montgomery Coin in addition to having an engraved Memorial Brick placed in the Vietnam Memorial Garden. The ceremony will include a rifle salute and a performance of Taps. The Memorial Day Service is free and open to the public. Media Advisory attached
