The City of Montgomery will hold a public meeting for District 4 to conduct a survey and take public comment for the development and submission of its 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan to be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regarding the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, HOME Investment Partnerships Act (HOME) Program, and the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Program.
The HUD grant funds will be used to serve low-to-moderate income persons and areas within the city limits of Montgomery, Alabama. The five-year Consolidated Plan will be available for public review beginning early 2025 and will be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for approval mid- 2025.
The primary purpose of this public meeting is to receive comments from citizens, non-profit organizations, and other interested parties regarding housing and community development needs within the City of Montgomery, Alabama.
