Mayor’s Budget Message
Presentation of Ordinance amending FY 2024 Operating and Debt Service Budget and adopting FY 2025 Operating and Debt Service Budget. (To be carried over until the September 3th meeting for action after public hearing.)

OLD BUSINESS
1. Hearing on the proposed Ordinance adopting the Technical Codes 2024 of the City of Montgomery, with additions and deletions.
2. Ordinance adopting the Technical Codes 2024 of the City of Montgomery with additions and deletions.
3. Review of Soul Food Kitchen/Selvin’s Soul Food Sports Café, 1266 Eastdale Mall. (1)
4. Resolution repealing the legislation which created Montgomery City/County Personnel Board and expressing Council’s intent to adopt an ordinance creating a City Personnel Board in accordance with Act 2024-337. (Sponsored by Councillor Calhoun)
5. Ordinance granting a license to construct, install, and maintain License Plate Readers located on City ROW at: North Decatur Street at North Ripley Street (WB), and North Decatur Street at Howe Street (NB).
6. Resolution setting hours of operation for 2600 North Belt Drive (Montgomery International Dragway). (Sponsored by Councillor Beard)
7. Application for Towing Company by Deanthony Rose, d/b/a D&D Towing and Recovery, 562 Oliver Road.

8. Review of Budget Inn Motel, 4409 Troy Highway. (6)
9. Review of Infusion Lounge, 3905 Troy Highway. (6)
10. Ordinance amending the COM Organizational Chart to add Housing Department.
11. Ordinance imposing a Moratorium on the Issuance of Building Permits and Approval of Site Development Plans for Solar Electric Power Generation Facilities.
12. Ordinance authorizing Mayor to execute aggregate contracts of $25,000 or less without Council review and approval through September 2025. (Sponsored by Councillor Szymanski)
13. Resolution designating Nuisance Abatement Agent.
14. Resolution declaring public nuisances, authorizing immediate abatement and assessing cost of abatement of public nuisances on various lots pursuant to Chapter 12 of the Code of Ordinances.
