SUBJECT: Request for approval of driveway alterations and fence for the property located at 3360 Montezuma Road (Cloverdale Idlewild).
REMARKS: The petitioner is requesting permission to widen the driveway 8’ x 36’ on the right of the current driveway. The driveway material will be tan pea gravel to match the existing. Also proposed is a new 19’ section of fence with a gate to run behind the carport to secure the backyard. The fence would be a 6’ tall dog-eared privacy fence. It would run from the existing, side yard fence and return to the house. The new fence will match the fence on the property. The wall that is in the rear of the carport is proposed to be removed to make room for the new fence.

SUBJECT: Request for approval after the fact of new windows for the property located at 1131 Magnolia Curve (Old Cloverdale). VIOLATION
REMARKS: The petitioner is requesting permission to retain 13 new Anderson vinyl windows. The grid between the glass has been removed. It has been replaced with a wooden grid in a 6:6 pattern that is affixed to the outside of the windows. The grid is painted white. The Demilune door that was in violation has been replaced with a 9-lite door of unknown material.

SUBJECT: Request for approval after the fact for door replacement for the property located at 694 Cloverdale Road (Old Cloverdale). VIOLATION
REMARKS: The petitioner is requesting permission to replace the existing front door that is in violation with a wood, craftsman door with 6 lites at the top. The original door that was on the house was discarded.

SUBJECT: Request for approval after the fact for shutters for the property located at 1717 South Hull Street (Garden District). VIOLATION
REMARKS: The petitioner is requesting permission to retain black, contemporary shutters on the front façade of the residence. The material of the shutters is unknown.
5. PRESENTED BY: Hilltop Hospitality, LLC
SUBJECT: Request for approval of a new sign for the property located at 3 North Goldthwaite Street (Cottage Hill).
REMARKS: The petitioner is requesting permission install a new ID sign for a new business. The sign will be mounted on the front façade of the building. The wooden sign will be 5’ wide by 3’ tall. It will be externally light with a light source mounted above the sign as illustrated.

SUBJECT: Request for approval after the fact for painting of previously unpainted brick located at 3238 Lexington Road (Cloverdale-Idlewild). VIOLATION
REMARKS: The petitioner is requesting permission to complete the painting of the residence. A stop work order was issued but three of the four walls of the residence were already painted a light, neutral color. The house is originally red brick.

SUBJECT: Request for approval after the fact for painting of previously unpainted brick located at 1935 Norman Bridge Road (Old Cloverdale). VIOLATION
REMARKS: The petitioner is requesting permission to retain the painted brick. By time a stop work was issued, the entire house had been painted a light, neutral color. The original house was red brick.

SUBJECT: Request for approval after the fact for a fence for the property located at 1349 South Perry Street (Garden District). VIOLATION
REMARKS: The petitioner is requesting permission to retain the wrought-iron fence on the north side of the property. The petitioner attended the October 26, 2021, ARB meeting and was approved for the same fence on other sides of the property but the north side was never approved.

SUBJECT: Request for approval after the fact for a new storage building for the property located at 44 South Capitol Parkway (Capitol Heights). VIOLATION
REMARKS: The petitioner is requesting permission to retain a 12’ x 20’ storage building. The building has vinyl siding and windows with a metal roof and doors.
10. PRESENTED BY: Leon Harris
SUBJECT: Request for approval for driveway alterations, porch enclosure and window removals for the property located at 3123 Norman Bridge Road (Cloverdale Idlewild).
REMARKS: The petitioner is requesting permission for the following:
• To remove two (2) bay windows and restore the front steps. These changes that were approved by the Board October 23, 2001. The windows leak and are causing issues with the residence. The request is to return the front façade to how it was prior to October of 2001.
• To add a front stoop cover over the steps. It would extend 4’ from the residence. It will be brick to match the house. There will be 2 (two) columns added on either side.
• To add a 10’ wide circular driveway in front of the residence.
• To enclose a porch on the right side of the residence. The enclosure is 8’ x 13’. It will be stucco. Columns, shingles and windows to match the existing structure. There will be a 36” door on the rear.

SUBJECT: Request for approval after the fact for a metal awning and gutters for the property located at 351 Winthrop Court (Garden District). VIOLATION
REMARKS: The petitioner is requesting permission to retain a 4’ metal awning and gutter that has been installed above the back doors.
12. PRESENTED BY: Lana Cavassa
SUBJECT: Request for approval of a revised retaining wall for the property located at 103 North Goldthwaite Street (Cottage Hill).
REMARKS: The petitioner is requesting permission to repair a leaning, brick retaining wall. The repairs include covering the red brick with a concrete stucco scored to appear as stone. The changes are proposed to be on the existing wall. There is no change to height or location proposed.
