Kick off the Festival on Saturday, May 5 at 10 AM at the Do-Dah Pet Parade! First and second place prizes will be awarded in adult and child categories, in addition, one prize will be awarded based on the costume that best embodies this year’s Gulf Coast Jubilee theme.
Following the Parade, the Montgomery Humane Society will be on site with dogs available for adoption. Keep an eye out for the green “Adopt Me” bandanas! The Museum will also be collecting new or used towels, washable toys, dog and cat treats, bleach, and paper towels. If you would like to donate any of these items, please bring them to the Do-Dah Pet Parade Tent between 10AM to 2PM.
Participation in the Do-Dah Pet Parade is free with your Flimp Festival admission.
