Trenholm State Connects Local Talent to Area Employers
(Montgomery, AL) —Trenholm State Community College is hosting its Annual Career Fair on April 11, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., in the Auditorium on the Patterson Campus located at 3920 Troy Highway. This event is designed for employers to meet our students, alumni, and members of the community ready to join the workforce. The Career Fair is open to the public.
This year, more than 30 employers from the healthcare, manufacturing, business services, federal and state government agencies seek to fill open positions throughout their organizations. Among those employers are Alabama Power, Golden Shears & More, State of Alabama Personnel Department, Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED, Inc., Max Credit Union, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing of Alabama, and Baptist Health. Attendees can expect recruiters to give them guidance regarding their available employment opportunities, application process, and possibly hold on-site interviews for qualified job candidates.
Trenholm State strives to connect employers with skilled workforce ready job applicants. “We encourage job seekers to come professionally dressed, prepare to network, and bring several copies of their résumé,” says Maria Richardson, Job Placement Coordinator. Richardson added, “the more employers you meet, the more connections you make, the greater your chances for success.”
The Career Center is dedicated to providing career education training, counseling, and assessments that will lead students to successful careers. The Career Center offers students and alumni the opportunity to participate in activities and workshops throughout the academic year.
