The City of Montgomery and Montgomery County will host the Montgomery Small & Minority Business Initiative Awards Reception at the DoubleTree Hotel in downtown Montgomery.
The City of Montgomery and Montgomery County in 2015 introduced the Small & Minority Business Initiative in an effort to expand opportunities and increase participation of small and minority businesses in City and County contracts, while encouraging the same in the private sector. The program has been spearheaded and presented by Senior Advisor to Mayor Strange, current Chairman of the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce and former Montgomery County Circuit Judge Charles Price. Price laid the groundwork and partnered with the Moore Zeigler Group to make inroads in the River Region's local business community.
