OLD BUSINESS

1. Ordinance rezoning one parcel of land containing 12.5 acres located on the north side of Taylor Road East*, approximately 700 feet east of Taylor Road, from an AGR-1 (Residential Agriculture) Zoning District to a PGH-40 (Patio-Garden Home) Zoning District.  Not recommended by the Planning Commission.  APPEALED. (Hearing held 9-19-17 and carried over 10-17-17 and 01-02-18)

2. Hearing on proposed Ordinance rezoning two parcels of land containing 0.20 acres located approximately 750 feet north of Berryhill Road and 50 feet south of EastChase Lane from an INST (Institutional) Zoning District to a B-2 (Commercial) Zoning District.  Recommended by the Planning Commission.  (RZ-2996-034)

3. Hearing on proposed Ordinance rezoning three parcels of land containing 18.39 acres located on the west side of Old Wetumpka Highway, and approximately 1000 feet south of Wetumpka Highway from an AGR-2 (General Agriculture) Zoning District to a B-2 (Commercial) Zoning District.  Recommended by the Planning Commission.  (RZ-1977-022)

NEW BUSINESS

4. Ordinance authorizing sale of real estate located at 5015 Woods Crossing to the American Red Cross.

5. Application for a Restaurant Retail Liquor License by La Taquiza Mexican Restaurant and Grill LLC, d/b/a La Taquiza Mexican Restaurant and Grill, 4530 Troy Highway.

6. Pursuant to Section 11-53B-1 et Seq., Code of Alabama, authorization of demolition of unsafe structures at the following locations:  
• 1006 Highland Avenue (Parcel # 10 04 18 1 016 003.000)         
• 1210 Highland Avenue (Parcel # 10 04 18 1 018 007.000)
• 1206 Highland Avenue (Parcel # 10 04 18 1 018 008.000)
• 1227 Aaron Street (Parcel # 11 06 13 4 014 031.000)
• 1253 Aaron Street (Parcel # 11 06 13 4 014 035.000)

7. Resolution designating Nuisance Abatement Agent.

8. Resolution assessing the cost of abatement of unsafe structures on various lots pursuant to Section 11-53B-1 et Seq., Code of Alabama.

9. Resolution declaring public nuisances, authorizing immediate abatement and assessing cost of abatement of public nuisances on various lots pursuant to Chapter 12 of Code of Ordinances.
