  1. Public Hearing on proposed Ordinance amending Code of Ordinances of the City of Montgomery, Chapter 5, Article IV/ Electrical; Code, Section 5-123 Permit Inspection fees.
  2. Ordinance amending Code of Ordinances of the City of Montgomery, Chapter 5, Article IV/ Electrical; Code, Section 5-123 Permit Inspection fees.

Public Hearing on proposed Ordinance adopting the “Technical Codes of the City of Montgomery”: consisting of:   International Building Code 2015, International Fuel Gas Code 2015, International Mechanical Code 2015, International Plumbing Code 2015, International Property Maintenance Code 2015, International Residential Code 2015, International Energy Conservation Code 2015, International Existing Building Code 2015, and International Swimming Pool and Spa Code 2015, with deletions and amendments, and repealing Code of Ordinances, Chapter 5, Articles I, III, V, VI, VII and IX.

  6. Pursuant to Section 11-53B-1 et Seq., Code of Alabama, authorization of demolition of unsafe structure at 504 W. Patton Avenue (Parcel # 11 07 25 4 006 022.000).
  7. Hearing on proposed Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 30-2000 revising Master Plan to allow senior living whereas commercial use was approved and revise guidelines for senior living development for property located on the west side of EastChase Lane, approximately 600 feet south of EastChase Parkway, in a PUD (Planning Unit Development) Zoning District.  Recommended by the Planning Commission.  (RZ-2000-020)
  8. Hearing on proposed Ordinance rezoning one parcel of land located at 3535 Ashley Road from an AGR-1 (Residential Agriculture) Zoning District to an R-75-d (Duplex Residential) Zoning District.  Recommended by the Planning Commission.  (RZ-2017-013)
  9. Hearing on proposed Ordinance rezoning one parcel of land containing 1.99 acres located on the west side of Birmingham Highway, approximately 1500 feet south of Twin Lakes Parkway, from an M-3 (General Industrial) Zoning District to an R-125 (Single Family Residential) Zoning District.  Recommended by the Planning Commission.  (RZ-2017-001)
  10. Hearing on proposed Ordinance rezoning 8.35 acres located on the north side of Prince Street, between North Court Street and North McDonough Street, from R-60-d (Duplex Residential) and M-1 (Light Industrial) Zoning Districts to an M-3 (General Industrial) Zoning District.  Recommended by the Planning Commission.  (RZ-2017-002)
  11. Hearing on proposed Ordinance amending Appendix C – Zoning, Article VI, Sections 8.4, 8.5 and 8.6 (Landscape Requirements).  Recommended by the Planning Commission.
  12. Hearing on proposed Ordinance amending Appendix C – Zoning, Article VI, Section 10.14.2, Article 5, Section 5.6.8 (T5) Signage Standards.  Recommended by the Planning Commission.

  17. Resolution appointing Stacy Tranthem to the Montgomery Clean City Commission by Councillor Larkin replacing Pamela Riley.
  18. Resolution appointing Ernest Finley to the Board of Trustees – Retirement Fund by Councillor Bell replacing Christopher Allen Wingard.
