AT THE MONTGOMERY ZOO - MANN MUSEUM

Formal Events
The Overlook Café can accommodate a large number of people, complete with sit down dinners or an elegant buffet. Cash bars are available, as well as a PA system. Catering menus may include both hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, buffet and formal dining. A variety of animals may be available for after hours viewing at the Zoo. Animals include the giraffes, lions, chimpanzees and more.

One of the more popular times to host an event at the zoo is during our Christmas Light Festival. Events are held in the entertainment tent, which is beautifully decorated for the holidays. Guests can enjoy the Christmas Light Festival, as well as mingle and socialize amongst themselves.

The Mann Museum offers an indoor setting that will easily accommodate a sit-down dinner or cocktail buffet. The ambiance from the beautiful “Marina” at the Museum will add a touch of wildlife to any party.

PICNICS
The zoo is a great place to host a family reunion or corporate picnic. Not only will you enjoy delicious food from our catering department, but you have a perfect venue as well. The sights and sounds of the zoo offer a wonderful backdrop, making your picnic an all day fun fest!
BIRTHDAY PARTIES
Children’s’ parties are also very popular at the zoo. The birthday child receives a windsock and other zoo related favors; the parents don’t have to set up or clean up afterwards. A winning situation for both! Birthday parties are held every day at the Overlook Café, with the exception of special events.

To make a child’s birthday party even more fantastic, live animals can be added to the party itself. The host may choose to add animals that are simply present at a birthday party, or may choose to host an education program. Both offer children an educational experience while having fun!
