SUMMER ZOO CAMP

For a rumble in the jungle and a monkey of a good time, join the staff at the Montgomery Zoo for an unique experience with animals, zookeepers and citters alike. Your summer won't be complete without this one of a kind experience. Learn about the Zoo, animals, habitats, talk to zookeepers and even handle some of our Education animals -- and have a little fun to boot. It all starts June 4 and will rock through July 27. Full day, half day... we will have something to fit for you and your child.

FAMILY FUN DAY -- DINO DIG
Want to know what it would be like to go on a paleontological dig and discover the remains of a prehistoric species? Well then, join us for our Dino Dig on Saturday May 17. There will be a powerpoint presentation, a scavenger hunt and then an actual dig in our sandboxes. This event is for children ages 3-12. Pre-registration by May 14th is required. FAMILY FUN DAY -- BUTTERFLIES
On November 15th, 2008, the Education Department will host another exciting Butterfly event. See where butterflies come from, where they live and add beauty to environment as well as play a vital role in insect world. As a participant of this program, each guest will receive a free milkseed plant to take home as a start of your our butterfly garden.
