The Montgomery Police Department has seen the need to create this unit for the purpose of reducing the cost of overtime throughout the police department. This unit is dedicated to serving the City of Montgomery by working rotating hours and off days. This unit has also made a dedication to the many businesses who have asked for our support by hiring off duty officers to help protect their customers. This unit will also interact with business owners to ensure they are getting the service they are paying for off-duty officers. This unit will be the missing link between business owners and the police department in keeping communication flowing. This unit has adopted the T.E.A.M. spirit.
