In the Community

Montgomery Fire/Rescue and its members are dedicated to providing essential resources, education and leadership to our community. We are committed to training individuals, families, neighborhoods, and businesses in fire safety.

Station Tours

Montgomery Fire/Rescue welcomes visitors at fire stations throughout the city.  The department also holds special events throughout the year at fire stations to educate the public on fire safety.  To schedule a station tour for a school, church or other group, contact us at (334) 240-4626.

Fighting Muscular Dystrophy

MD

Montgomery Fire/Rescue, along with other fire departments across the nation, have committed to raising money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) to aid in the fight against muscular dystrophy.  The annual money raising effort has been termed the "boot drive" or "filling the boot", due to the boots the firemen use when collecting funds from generous civilians.  Since 1998, the department has contributed over $1 million to MDA.
